Phase 1 of this project was completed during summer 2022 which saw the refurbishment of 14 flats. Works included a full strip out and installation of 14 kitchens, full decorations and new flooring to 84 bedrooms and a refresh of 28 bathrooms. The M&E package incorporated the renewal of the electrics and the installation of a new data cabling system. Reconfiguration works were also completed to the Hot Water storage system. Phase 2 was identical to Phase 1 with an extension to the scope of works to include asbestos removal and upgrades to the existing fire doors.
As the site was partially occupied, careful consideration was given to mitigate any undue inconvenience and nuisance to the residents on site. A full-time dedicated Site Manager was appointed to ensure the works were being delivered to the client’s specifications and to coordinate the different trades between each stage of this project.
