The refurbishment of the ground floor communal spaces at Highclere Care Home in Milton Keynes. Works included full decoration, new flooring and LED lighting upgrades within the lounge areas, snug, dining rooms, activities room and reception area. The project also included the creation of a new café and a new storeroom.
As the Principal Contractor, Harris Evolution project managed the works on site ensuring the scheme was delivered to the client’s specifications and drawings. Careful planning was required to keep the building operational without impacting comfort conditions for the residents and staff whilst works were ongoing.
Refurbishments were undertaken in phases and delivered to an accelerated programme so that services could remain online and the rooms returned to the client as quickly as possible.
