Completed within 16 weeks, the project included a full strip-out of existing fixtures and fittings, the installation of new flooring and furniture, and cosmetic improvements to bathrooms. These upgrades encompassed cleaning, redecoration, and sealant replacement, ensuring a refreshed and modernised space throughout.

The hotel’s Ground Floor communal areas underwent significant enhancements, including the renovation of the reception, restaurant bar area, lounge, and one meeting room. A new reception desk and two standalone self check-in desks were installed, along with the creation of a buffet and cold server counter. The bar framework was re-panelled to match the new reception desk, new furniture was added to the lounge, and the ceiling and bar lighting were upgraded.

As part of Harris Evolutions’ corporate social responsibility efforts, the old TVs were removed and sold, generating £500 for the Children’s Hospice South West.  The successful refurbishment of the London Heathrow hotel represents a major milestone in B&B HOTELS’ UK expansion. Through strategic renovations and thoughtful design, the hotel chain has strengthened its dedication to providing quality and comfort to guests.
