As part of Village Hotels’ ongoing investment programme to expand and enhance its hotels and guest experience, Village Hotels in Coventry and Birmingham were refurbished to upgrade guest accommodation and key circulation areas at both sites.
Harris Evolution delivered the full refurbishment of 271 guest rooms across both locations, including associated bathroom upgrades. Works also included the installation of new carpeting and full redecoration to corridors and staircases, with additional upgrades to the link bridge at the Coventry site, improving both appearance and durability.
Both projects were delivered within live hotel environments, requiring a carefully managed phased approach. Works were carried out one section of each floor at a time, allowing the hotels to remain operational throughout while minimising disruption to guests and staff.
Through detailed planning and close coordination with the client, Harris Evolution successfully delivered both programmes within their respective timeframes, maintaining high standards and ensuring a seamless
integration of works within active hospitality settings.
