With over sixteen sites located across England, Retirement Village boasts a varied collection of new build and historic structures. As part of a five-year Framework agreement, Retirement Villages saw multiple properties undergo various refurbishment works.
As one of three Contractors appointed on the Framework agreement, Harris Evolution supported the delivery of the proposed scheme. Acting as Principal Contractor, our team oversaw works for properties appointed, playing an integral role in ensuring the care home allocated met the client’s design specifications.

Works comprised full decorations, new flooring, M&E upgrades, new heating systems, tiling, and the installation of new white goods, full kitchen, and bathroom refurbishments.
To minimise disruption for residents and staff, our team tailored the programme of works and phasing plans to the requirements of each individual property. Noisy works were restricted to set hours with some sites being sectioned off so trades did not cross paths with the residents.
As part of our conscious efforts to reduce environmental degradation, a large portion of the white goods and fixtures & fittings were sent to a reclamation site.
