Pig Barn, Wiltshire
The conversion of an old barn into 2, 4-bed and 2, 3-bed luxury apartments. A complex project involving structural alterations, installation of utilities, cladding and roof works, extensive M&E and plumbing works as well as a full fit out including full decorations and flooring.
Acting as the Principal Contractor, Harris Evolution has led the design team and managed the project delivery through a Design and Build route. Our team has played an integral role in taking this project from concept through to completion. From sourcing appropriate materials, to appointing the right design team, to managing works on site, Harris Evolution was involved at each stage of this project.
As a Class Q building, located on the edge of the Cotswolds, extra care has been taken to ensure the designs are in keeping with the surrounding area and the construction approach is as environmentally friendly as possible. Air source heat pumps have been installed and each apartment is being supplied with borehole water. Environmentally / green materials have also been used wherever possible.
