iQ Arcade is a well-established purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) that continues to provide high-quality living for students. As part of their annual investment programme, the property recently underwent a comprehensive refurbishment designed to modernise bedrooms, kitchens, communal spaces, and the reception, creating contemporary and welcoming environments throughout.
Harris Evolution successfully delivered the project within a challenging 10-week timeframe. Works included the full strip-out and renewal of 234 bedrooms, which were upgraded with new flooring, furniture, redecoration, plumbing for vanity units, and illuminated mirrors. Alongside this, 132 communal shower rooms were fully refurbished, featuring new showers and trays, re-boarded bathroom walls with Zest aqua panels, fresh décor, and the installation of new WC’s, sinks, taps, and tiled splash backs.
The programme also delivered the complete replacement of 44 kitchens, finished to a high standard with new appliances, solid core worktops, blinds, and flooring. Across the building, communal areas benefited from new flooring and decoration, with sub-floor repairs carried out where needed. To complete the transformation, the reception area was refurbished to create a bright, contemporary, and welcoming entrance space.
Through careful planning and close collaboration, Harris Evolution ensured the project was completed on time and with minimal disruption, enhancing the student experience at iQ Arcade for years to come.
