B&B Hotel Duxford underwent a comprehensive refurbishment programme as part of B&B Hotels UK continued investment in its hospitality portfolio.
The project focused on enhancing guest experience through the modernisation of bedrooms, circulation spaces, and ground floor food and beverage areas, delivering a refreshed and contemporary interior aligned with the brand’s standards.
Harris Evolution was appointed to deliver the refurbishment over a 12-week programme. The works comprised the refurbishment of 73 bedrooms, including new lighting, flooring, full redecoration, replacement headboards and TV chimney installations. Circulation areas were upgraded throughout the hotel, while the ground floor dinning space was enhanced with new fixed seating, bar and reception counter upgrades, new flooring, TV credenza installations and improved lighting, delivering a cohesive and modernised guest environment.
The works were carefully planned around the operational constraints of a live hospitality environment. Close coordination of access, logistics, and sequencing enabled the refurbishment to progress efficiently while maintaining health and safety and minimising impact to guest experience.
