Ross Young is an experienced Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years’ industry experience across healthcare, care homes, education, retail, residential and commercial refurbishment. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and has delivered projects under JCT Traditional, JCT Design and Build and NEC3 contracts, with additional expertise in SMM7/CESSM measurement and grant audit processes.
Since joining Harris Evolution, Ross has provided commercial and project support across care home refurbushments, GP surgery upgrades and nursery refurbishments. His role covers pre-construction through to final account, including estimating, procurement, valuations, cost reporting, change control and final account negotiation. Ross brings a balanced understanding of both commercial and site delivery, gained through senior roles including Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager and Director.
